Ideation & Prototyping
Creating something new starts with ideas, and prototyping brings those ideas to life. This stage is where creativity meets practicality—a process that I’ve honed over decades of experience making websites, especially for complex and creative projects.
I approach ideation and prototyping with curiosity and energy. Discovering ideas is part of my daily routine, and I’m fascinated by exploring fresh concepts and learning about the latest tools. These tools allow me to move fast, keep things practical, and make sure that the prototypes I create are clear, useful, and ready for the next stages of development.

These tools allow me to move fast, keep things practical, and make sure that the prototypes I create are clear, useful, and ready for the next stages of development.
There are two ways I approach this process:
1. End-to-End Project Leadership
For many projects, I take on the role of producer while also serving as the creative director, lead designer, and lead developer. Working with my team at Common Studio, I guide the process from the first spark of an idea through prototyping and into full production. This approach ensures that every aspect of the project benefits from a cohesive, hands-on vision.
2. Focused Collaboration
In other cases, I work as the creative director within a larger team, focusing specifically on ideation and prototyping. Here, my role is to provide direction and build out thoughtful, functional prototypes that bring clarity and momentum to the project.

Regardless of the role, I aim to create web designs that go beyond expectations, blending creativity, precision, and functionality.
